Welcome to BeMinded. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the BeMinded application ("the App"), provided by AdLuna Labs, a brand of UAB DALYKAI, a company registered in Lithuania ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

## About BeMinded

BeMinded is a focus app that helps you block distracting apps on your own device. When you open a blocked app, BeMinded shows you a personal goal you have written — a moment of intention to help you stay focused. The App is built on Apple's Screen Time framework and is intended for adults managing their own device usage.

## Using the App

You may use BeMinded for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.

BeMinded relies on Apple's Screen Time (FamilyControls) permissions to function. You will be asked to grant this permission on first launch. Without it, the core blocking features cannot operate.

## Subscriptions

BeMinded is free to download and includes core features at no cost. BeMinded Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks unlimited app and category blocking and additional features.

### Pricing and billing

- Free trial: 7 days, free.
- Monthly plan: $3.99 USD per month (or the equivalent in your local currency).
- Annual plan: $17.99 USD per year (or the equivalent in your local currency).

Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before you confirm any purchase.

### How the subscription works

- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the rate of your selected plan.
- If you started with a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

### Managing and cancelling

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:

Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

### Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. We are not able to issue refunds directly. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policies. You can request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

## Disclaimer

BeMinded is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to make the App reliable, it depends on Apple's Screen Time framework, which has its own technical limitations. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will block every app in every circumstance. BeMinded is a tool to support your focus; it is not a substitute for professional advice regarding digital wellbeing or health.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

## Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

## Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not deprive you of any protections afforded by mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

## Common questions

How do I block apps?
On first launch, grant Screen Time access when prompted. Then choose the apps you want to block, write your personal goal, and enable blocking. When you open a blocked app, you'll see your goal instead.

Why does BeMinded need Screen Time permission?
Blocking apps and showing a custom screen is only possible through Apple's Screen Time (FamilyControls) framework. This permission stays on your device and no data is sent to us.

Is my data private?
Yes. BeMinded collects no data. Your goals, app selections, and settings never leave your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, select BeMinded, and cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com to request one.
